About Us

The family farm was purchased by John and Joanne Knoch in 1973 from Joanne’s parents - Vincent and Elenor Krueger. While John farmed, Joanne started her catering business in 1984. The business grew along with the family. Soon Joanne was doing cakes, catering all while raising seven children. In 2001 the idea for lighting in her cakes was born - creating The Knock Shoppe. Now, the third generation farm is transformed into an event venue! The Krueger Homestead will be available in 2024. Among our many amenities we will have a charming farmhouse, decor options and on-site catering available.
